AJS Airjet
The Skatoskalo Air Jet System supplies clean, dry and if requested sterilised air at up to 13BAR to work with centrifugal plough simultaneously to send all sugar to discharge. Initial sugar loading of the basket often creates vibration, so most sugar factories leave a gap between plough and screen to avoid screen damage. This results in excess sugar being washed to waste or to recycling.
